When added value produces something that’s valued, it’s even better. And we are proud to be able to nurture this tradition in collaboration with our team. This is because during the process of making a wig, each strand of hair is tightly secured to the base of the cap, which could sacrifice some of the hair. In fact, the ideal length that most organizations encourage their donors to give is around 12 inches or 30.5 centimeters. As already mentioned, making a wig from real hair is an old craft. If you’d just like to cut your hair and donate it, start a fundraiser. Your donation should be no less than nine inches long. The production takes place in Germany 1 and also in other European countries 2. Abu Dhabi: A Dubai-based cancer survivor is this weekend organising a global online hair donation event to empower cancer patients across the world. We know this organisation and its founders personally and are a member of Intercoiffure ourselves. As hairdressers, we think it is extremely important to support the charity Education for Life through our Hair for Life campaign. You send us your ponytail or your hairdresser sends it. Launched on World Cancer Day, February 4, 2015, Green Trends salon has run its hair donation program for cancer patients for 5 successful years, collecting hair donations and spreading awareness across all its 375+ salons in India and across standalone hair donation camps conducted in colleges, schools and corporates. ![]()
